To support the energy transition, SENSEI, together with 6 H2020 projects – Triple-A, LAUNCH, AmBIENCe, NOVICE, QUEST and U-CERT - have drafted recommendations in a letter to policymakers, based on all projects’ findings and objectives, investigating ways to enable the mass adoption of energy efficiency measures and smart technologies supporting the uptake of more renewable energy sources.

On 27 November, Philippe Detours represented Demeter at the LAUNCH Investor Forum in Brussels, a conference that gathered energy and finance experts, as well as policy makers from the European Commission, to discuss ways to facilitate the investment of financial sponsors into energy efficiency projects in Europe.

The first LAUNCH Investor Forum will be held in Brussels, at the BNP premises, on November 27th. The aim of the LAUNCH Investor Forum is to think BIG - key market players will discuss why EPC has not yet been securitized and what is needed to achieve securitization of Sustainable Energy Assets under EPC contracts.
The first LAUNCH Investor Board meeting will be held in Brussels, at the BNP premises, on November 28th. The meeting will follow the first LAUNCH Investor Forum.
On November 5th, Jessica Stromback, Managing Director at Joule Assets Europe, presented the LAUNCH project at the REHVA Brussels Summit on “Delivering healthy, zero-carbon buildings by 2050”.
On October 9th, the LAUNCH Consortium met in Amsterdam, Netherlands, at TNO’s offices, to discuss the progress made in the first 6 months of the project and the next steps.
